    Pilgrim offers a play-based preschool program located in Lincoln Square, along the Ravenswood corridor. We provide a range of developmentally appropriate options for your preschool-aged child.
    • 3 & 4 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten (3 afternoons)

      We believe that learning takes place through child-centered opportunities and activities in an accepting environment, by teachers who respect each child and his/her varied background, experiences, knowledge, personalities, abilities, and needs.

      • Class size limited to 18 students
      • Instruction from 12:45-2:45
      • Aftercare from 2:45-6 Available

    • 3 & 4 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten (5 afternoons)

      We believe that an appropriate curriculum encourages and enhances the child’s growth as an independent individual and incorporates conflict resolution techniques to ensure group participation.

      • Class size limited to 18 students

      • Aftercare from 2:45-6 Available

    • 3 & 4 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten (5 mornings)

    Students attend CSO concerts, visit both Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos, explore museums and nature centers, and learn about the neighborhood in which they live and learn.

    Sometimes half a day isn't enough! Kids love the unstructured play time in the gym and on the playground offered during before/after care.
    • Early Birds

      We provide a warm, safe environment for Pilgrim students before school begins, starting at four years old. Students are escorted to their classroom at 8:40am.

      • 7:15am - 8:45am
      • Students participate in activities such as mixed sports games, jump rope, art and table activities, and more.
      • Payment on a daily basis is $5.00 per child, $8.00 per family.

    • Afternoon programming

      Play-based programs foster creative and critical thinking skills, and prepare children to read with comprehension.

      • 11:45 - 2:45 care
      • Instruction extends and enriches the themes explored in the morning session.
      $45 / per month for each day selected
    • Pilgrim After School

      P.A.S. is an active and safe, mixed age group program where students of all ages meet after their school day to join in a variety of activities such as art, mixed sports, gym games, table activities, outdoor play, and more! Drama Club, Painting Club, Bible Club, and Cooking Club are offered to PAS students throughout various times in the school year. Building good relationships through learning, play, and sportsmanship are goals we encourage by creating a safe and nurturing environment for all.

      Any child from early childhood (age 3) through 8th grade may enroll in Early Birds or P.A.S. Children may be enrolled on a monthly basis or on a daily drop-in basis.

      • 2:45pm - 6pm
      • A healthy snack is provided
      • Supervision provided by the P.A.S. Director and/or Assistant Director
      • A discount punch card is available which includes one free bonus visit when a 10 visit card is purchased.
