It is a tradition at Pilgrim Lutheran School for the graduating 8th grade class to present their life testimonies during the last few Pilgrim chapel services of the year. This is a wonderful and important opportunity for the 8th grade students to share favorite memories from their time at Pilgrim Lutheran School, say thank you to teachers and staff, and share what they have learned and how they have grown from their education at Pilgrim Lutheran School. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing video compilations of their testimonies on Pilgrim Lutheran School’s blog.
In today’s video, the 8th grade students reflect on their time at Pilgrim Lutheran School. They also take time to thank their teachers, friends, and family. Emmet talks about how his education at Pilgrim Lutheran School has helped him in writing, reading, typing, and math. Pierce appreciates Pilgrim Lutheran School’s emphasis on service to others. He especially enjoyed participating in a service project at Feed My Starving Children. Ben highlights that Pilgrim Lutheran School was a safe place to learn both mentally and spiritually. Anna thanks her friends and teachers for helping her through challenges. Reese discusses Pilgrim Lutheran School’s loving community. Although he is excited for his future in high school, he promises to never forget the people from Pilgrim Lutheran School!
We will miss the 8th grade class!
We are incredibly proud of Pilgrim Lutheran School’s graduating class of 2021. This past school year has presented an array of unique challenges for students around the world. We are so amazed to see how our current 8th graders have taken on these challenges! We will miss them, but we can’t wait to hear about the amazing things they will accomplish in high school and beyond!
Congratulations to the Pilgrim Lutheran School class of 2021!
