Mrs. Goolsby is the lower grade art, handwriting, and PE teacher in Pre-K through 3rd grade. A veteran instructor with experience in visual, mixed media and art education, Mrs. Goolsby’s goal is for students to leave her classroom with a love of creating and valuing their own skills. She also brings her interests in art history, architecture, photography, crafting, and dance into the curriculum.
Creating a fun, nurturing and safe environment is the top priority for Mrs. Goolsby. She hopes that through her teaching, students will learn the value of respect for themselves and others. Mrs. Goolsby tries to engage all of her students, whether they are wiggly, analytical, or right or left brain.
A Pilgrim parent herself, Mrs. Goolsby is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Environment, Textile and Design. She lives in the Uptown community with her husband, three children, and their dog, Coco.
